Burj-al-Arab

Cayan Tower

Another first in the long list of modern structures in Dubai, Cayan Tower earlier known as Infinity tower stands with an angle of 90 degrees and among the tallest high-rises in the world.

This is amazing for several reasons. The whole structure is tilted by 90 degrees, it does not have any pillars anywhere, tourists can view marvelous waterfronts from this elevation.

This 90-degree design has been achieved by rotating each floor by 1.2 degrees around a cylindrical elevator and service core.

The Cayan Tower has been designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill SOM Architectural Group. They had also provided concept design for Burj Khalifa.
